Cancer Fit, Inc. is an Exercise and Wellness for Childhood Cancer Survivors
Cancer Fit, Inc. in Thousand Oaks, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering FREE exercise and wellness programs serving childhood cancer survivors in Southern California. The mission of Cancer Fit, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for adult and child cancer survivors through:
- Exercise and Wellness Coaching
- Exercise and Wellness Education
- Exercise and Wellness Advocacy & Awareness
- Cancer Survivor Active Lifestyle Promotion
Cancer Fit’s programs have served over 100 adult and child cancer survivors in it’s first year. The goal is to double this number in the second year while adding new specialized programs in treatment areas such as chemo brain and foot neuropathy.
James Storehouse
From cribs to college, James Storehouse supports children in foster care and those aging-out of foster care by providing resources that will ease transitions and improve living conditions. James Storehouse encourages awareness and motivates community participation in support of children in foster care.
James Storehouse is a 501(c)(3) community based non-profit. We partner with local public and private child welfare agencies. James Storehouse fulfills emergency requests to expedite safe placement of babies and children and to assist aged-out youth as they transition. We have received commendations from Los Angeles County and Ventura County recognizing our service to the foster care community.
